The Chili Cook-off will be on Friday Feb. 10, Saturday Feb. 11 and Sunday Feb. 12 from 11 am to 5 pm at Tobolandia, near the intersection of the libramiento and the carreterra, near WalMart, on the mountain side of the road.

Admission is fifteen pesos for adults, five pesos for those under twelve years old, and free for toddlers. Car parking is ten pesos.

We need volunteers to sell tickets at the gate, to control traffic within the grounds, to sell raffle tickets during the cookoff, and to help with handling ticket money.

All volunteers will be furnished with bright-colored traffic warden vests to identify them. It would be great to have one Spanish-speaking volunteer on each of the posts on Sunday, when we get our big Mexican influx. Volunteers get free admission on days they work. Please show up about ten minutes before the start of your shift to get briefed and outfitted.

If people can volunteer for more than one day, for example 2:30 to 4:30 on Saturday and Sunday, it would be appreciated. Volunteers should show up ten minutes early to get briefed and outfitted.
